Half- Time (After School Learning)

The Expanded Learning After School Program provides a safe, structured, and enriching environment for Collett students.

The program begins at the end of the school day and ends at 6:00 pm sharp. During the program the students will receive a snack and then get an hour of time to complete their homework. Then students get an hour of instructional reinforced reading and stem-based programs.  The program typically concludes with an hour of enrichment. Enrichment is often fun activities like art, dance, nutrition, and sports.

To enroll in the Collett Expanded Learning After School Program just go to the Alvord District website.  Fill out an online application. Once the application is completed you will receive an email confirmation. You will need your student's school ID number and an email address to fill out the application. The Collett Expanded Learning facilitator is Bree Parris. Ms. Parris can usually be found in the Collett Multi-purpose Room.

Collett Elementary School often has a waitlist, so fill out your applications early.
